Things people hate to draw.

How do you guys dicipline yourselves to draw things or characters that you have no interest in what so ever but you know you need to draw it. For example, I hate drawing backgrounds...and superman(hehe). Its just not fun to me but I know that I have to learn to do it. God it bothers the crap out of me! So just wondering if anyone has any advice on this matter. Any methods, experiences, tricks.
